These torches have been excellent value. We were on holiday, and there's often a pier cut where we are, or there's no light bulb in the bathroom, or when you go outside, there's no street lighting to see your way. The torches did the job perfectly. They weren't super bright, but they were more than bright enough to light up a room and guide you, and they worked effectively in the wide open space of outside. They are made of plastic, so they're not heavy, but they do seem durable. They are small and easy to hold, and the clip was useful for placing the torch on your cap so you can walk around hands free, or read your book in the dark. You can't alter the beam, but you can have different lumens of light and flash. All in all, I was really happy with these torches and I do recommend them if you're looking for reasonably bright (not super bright per the advertising!) light.
